James Stillwell, 72 years, of Waynesburg R.D. 1, died Sunday, November 6, 1960, in Washington Hospital. He ha been ill several months. Mr. Stillwell was a son of Cyrus and Mary Margaret Stewart Stillwell, and was born October 18, 1888 in Morris Township, near Ninevah. Mr. Stillwell was a farmer and had resided on a farm near Ruff Creek for a number of years. His wife, Iva Ewing Stillwell, died March 14, 1951. Mr. Stillwell was a member of the Concord Presbyerian Church at Old Concord, which he joined as a young man. Surviving are one brother, William B. Stillwell of Ninevah R.D. 1; one sister, Mrs. Ida May Phillips of Denver, Colo., and one niece, Mrs. Christina Atherton in Colorado.
