He was a farmer and of the Baptist faith.

His parents; his wife Claudine Williams; two grandsons: Eric Baumgarten and John Glass.

One daughter: Cathy Priddy (Kenneth); one son: David Lindsey (Carolyn); six grandchildren: Davey Lindsey (Amy), Melinda Lindsey, Sarah Cardwell, Nicholas Lindsey, Nicole Jesse, Blake Priddy and Jason Duckett; he was "Granddaddy" to many others; nine great grandchildren: Aaliyah, Deegan, Noah, Natalie, Christa, Katelyn, Morgan, Spencer, Hardison; several nieces and nephews; a very special friend: Tommy Edwards (Joyce) and a host of extended family and friends.
