A life long resident of Greencastle, she was born in Franklin County, April 3, 1881. She was the widow of the late S. Harvey Eshleman and a daughter of the late Josiah and Annis (Uhler) Shuman. She was a member of the Grace United Church of Christ, Greencastle. She had been a practical nurse during her lifetime.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Irvin Eshleman, Greencastle; Mrs. John Sisler and Mrs. Harold Phillippy, both of Hagerstown; sister, Mrs. May Mayhugh, Greencastle; and a son, Elmer Eshleman, Frederick, Md.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from the Zimmerman Funeral Home, Greencastle, with services conducted by the Rev. Luther G. Heist, Jr. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
Viewing will be one hour before the service Thursday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the cancer society.
