She was born August 11, 1962 in Pekin to Michael T. and Carole A. (Pfeiffer) Bearden, Sr.
Surviving are her mother of Pekin; two sons, James Michael (Lori) Durbin and Jeremy Girard Durbin, both of Pekin; five sisters, Tammy (Delbert) Atterberry of Topeka, Marty (Ron) Powell of Bartonville, Lisa (Dave) Dosier of Forest City, Dana (Bryan) Taylor of Manchester, IA and Deania (Chuck) Davidson of Green Valley; one brother, Michael (Patricia) Bearden, Jr. of Pekin and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; one sister, Virgetta Dawley; her grandparents and one nephew, Ricky James Bennett.
Stacey proudly competed in track and field with Special Olympics, earning several medals.
She enjoyed doing crafts, boating, fishing and camping and was a true outdoors person.
Stacey was a member of Broom Tree Fellowship Church in South Pekin.
Her memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor David Atterberry will officiate. Visitation will be from noon to 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
