Mrs. Effie Lucas Rites Tuesday
Services were held Tuesday at the Stone Funeral Home, for Mrs. Effie Lucas, 87, former Harbor Springs resident, who died Saturday at Port Huron. Rev. A. H. Keesler officiated and interment was in Greenwood Cemetery.
She was born June 5, 1875 at Hillsdale and resided at Harbor springs and Manton. She was a member of the Pellston Chapter O.E.S.
Her husband Charles Lucas preceded her in death in 1930.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Clifford M. Peppler of Port Huron, Mrs. Charles O. Driver of Saginaw, and Mrs. Ralph Castetter of Fresno California; six grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; a nephew, Demont Wright of Harbor Springs.
