Bax was most successful
in the saddle over a period or
years, and among tbe many races
won by him were the Adelaide Cup
on St. Spasa in 1516, the ARC
Birthdflv Cup on Coonabar in 191Q.
the SAJC St. Leger on Devron in
1914. and tbe ARC City Handicap
on Mala in 1911. He won races
in Melbourne, and piloted Saxonite
when be dead-heated with
Prizefighter in tbe Australian Cup
of 1912.
