James S. Tapp was a notable enough citizen in Sacramento, that there exists many newspaper articles about his death (not just an obituary). All state he was buried in East Lawn. (I'm assuming Memorial Park.)

Son of Richard Tapp and Sarah Ann Higginson.

Husband of Juliett Duncan Gibson who preceded him in death. They married October 6, 1892, in Indiana.
