Erma was born on May 16, 1919, in Franklin, Wis., a daughter of the late William and Lana Stecker Schreiber. She attended rural Sheboygan County school.
On Nov. 27, 1937, she was united in marriage to Joseph Tomcheck at St. Casimir Catholic Church. She had been employed at various stores in the Sheboygan area including W.T. Grant and J.C. Penney.
Erma was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church.
Erma is survived by her husband, Joseph; a sister, Olga Tako, Milwaukee; a sister-in-law, Ruth Schrieber, Milwaukee; nieces and nephews, and special friends Gerald and Ann Dortman, Sheboygan.
Funeral services for Erma will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Ramm-Ziegler-Novak-Rettke Funeral Home, Southside Chapel. The Rev. Paul Fliss, associate pastor, St. Peter Claver Catholic Church will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. Burial of Cremains will be at St. Casimir Catholic Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home, 1535 S. 12th St., on Wednesday, from 10 a.m., until the time of services.
A memorial fund has been established in Erma's name.
