Margaret E. Long, a lifelong Glen Burnie resident, died Oct. 16 at Maryland Manor Nursing Home.
Services for the 82-year-old Anne Arundel resident were held Oct. 19.
The former Margaret E. Gray enjoyed dancing. Her husband, Louis R. Long, died in 1970.
She is survived by six sons, Louis Wayne Long and Donald Severe, both of Glen Burnie, and Robert Long, Norman Severe, Alfred Severe and William Severe, all of Baltimore; four daughters, Evelyn Matthews and Jeanette Buffington, both of Glen Burnie, Anna Broaders of Denton and Hazel Joyce Elbourn of White Stone, Va.; a brother, Joseph Gray of Baltimore; two sisters, Lena Shifflett of Baltimore and Dolly Hall of St. Mary's County; 31 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
