David Wayne Ashalintubbi, 56, of Idabel, Oklahoma was called home to his heavenly father on April 29, 2006. David was an 8 year veteran of the United States Army and
served proudly in the Vietnam Conflict. He was lifetime resident of McCurtain County who was a friend to anyone and an enemy of no one.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Aline James; step-mother, Sue Ashalintubbi; step-father, Henry James; and 2 sisters, Verloyn and Candice Ashalintubbi.
David is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Brenda Worley Ashalintubbi of the home; 2 sons, DeLano Ashalintubbi of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and Matt Ashalintubbi of Hampton; Va.; 2 daughters, D'Anna Ashalintubbi of Forney, Texas and Diedra Ashalintubbi
of Wilburton, Oklahoma; 3 brothers, Dennis Ashalintubbi of Eagletown, Ferris Ashalintubbi of Honobia, and Marty James of Talihina, Oklahoma; 4 sisters, Denise Johnson of
Heavener, Oklahoma, Hannah Williams of Del City, Oklahoma, Pauline Ashalintubbi of Clarksville, Arkansas and Minnie Ashalintubbi of Clarksville, Arkansas; his father, Marland
