PERRY, Iowa— Mildred Marie Cox, nee Jurgens, age 86, of Perry, Iowa, died of complications of a stroke Wednesday at Dallas County Hospital in Perry. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church in Perry, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Violet Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Mildred Cox was born in Everly, Iowa, and had lived in Perry most of her life. She was a homemaker and former beauty shop owner and operator. She is survived by a son, Gary Cox of Sedalia, Missouri; a daughter, Nancy Drew of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a foster daughter, Helen Thomas Khouri of Hemet, California; a sister, Florence Steine Roberts of Bend, Oregon; three brothers, Harold Jurgens of Brookings, Oregon, James Jurgens of Salem, Oregon, and Robert Jurgens of Bend; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
