GEORGE FORRESTER

George Forrester, 77, of Ft. Worth, Texas passed away Monday, June 12, 2006 at Ft. Worth. He was born May 8, 1928 in Idabel, the son of Perry and Mary Clark Forrester.
George owned and operated George's Pit Barbeque in Granbury, Texas for over 30 years.
He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in Korea, a longtime member of the Assemblies of God, and was a resident of Ft. Worth for over 50 years. George was a wonderful Christian
man dedicated to serving God.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
George is survived by his wife, Mary Forrester of Ft. Worth; sons, Jimmy Forrester, David Forrester, and Mike Forrester all of Ft. Worth; 3 sisters, Betty, Nellie, and Sharon; 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Services will be on Thursday, June 15, at 10:00 a.m. at the Conley-White Funeral Chapel in Idabel. Interment will follow in the Denison Cemetery.
