Mrs. Daniels was born May 2, 1951 in Buncombe County to the late Robert John Furey II and Verna Maude Green Furey.
She had worked at Bassett Furniture and was a homemaker. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. Susan loved horses and her grandchildren. She also loved to read and write journals, read her Bible and gardening.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: a son, Burke Hinmen Webb; two brothers, John Furey and Stephen Paul Furey.
Those left to cherish her memory include: her husband, Burtt “Mutton” Daniels of the home; a daughter, Carolyn “Sissy” Webb Brown and husband, Chris, of Troutman; mother-in-law, Annie Daniels of Taylorsville; two brothers, Mark Jefferson Furey of Hiddenite, Rick Furey of CA; four grandchildren, Dalton Vanstory, Taylor Vanstory, Landon Vanstory and Savannah Webb; and a number of special friends and family members.
A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m., Monday, December 28, 2015 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Bill Smith will officiate.
The family will greet friends following the service.
