CROSS, Emma E. (Ecker) – age 97 , of Owosso, MI went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 14, 2015 at The Meadows in Owosso, MI. Visitation will be held Friday, December 18, 2015 from 4PM-8PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 1PM at Brown Funeral Home – 1480 E. Hill Rd. Grand Blanc, MI with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Rev. Dale Cross and Pastor Mike Prince officiating. Emma will be laid to rest following services at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Emma was born on June 4, 1918 in Flint, MI to the late George and Julia (Sage) Ecker and lived there most of her life. She graduated from Flint Central High School in 1937. She married Leonard Cross in 1939. Leonard lost his life in an automobile accident in 1949. She married his younger brother Charles in 1950. While residing in Michigan, Emma belonged to the Free Methodist Church and while residing in Florida, she attended the Nazarene Church of Englewood. She worked for General Motors for 29 years. Emma is survived by her husband Charles Cross; 5 sons, Jim (Annette) Cross, Ron (Elaine) Cross, Ray (Jackie) Cross, Rich (Joanne) Cross, and Dennis (Carol) Cross; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, sister, Marion Brown of Flint, brother, Leonard Ecker of Montana, many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
