Mrs. Delia Jackson, wife of B.K. Jackson, died at their home on Route 2, Oneonta last Friday. Her death was due to heart trouble. Mrs. Jackson was 52 years of age and was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. The deceased is survived by her husband, B. K. Jackson, her mother, Mrs. Mary Bynum of Oklahoma, four sons, Ed Jackson of Route 2, Oneonta; Bill Jackson of Gadsden; Odus Jackson and Adrian Jackson of Route 2, Oneonta; two daughters, Mrs. Ellie Dillard and Mrs. Nora Murphree of Route 2, Oneonta; five brothers, Burl Bynum of Route 2, Oneonta; John Bynum, Davie Bynum and Anderson Bynum, all of Oklahoma and Tom Bynum of Texas; six sisters, Mrs. Rosa Trent of Oklahoma; Mrs. Irene Jones of Bridgeport; Mrs. Jane Rector of Oklahoma; Mrs. Zula Smith of Oklahoma; Mrs. Kate Darnell of Oklahoma, and Miss Helen Bynum of Route 2, Oneonta. The funeral services were held at Antioch Saturday and were conducted by Revs. Jordan and Battles, with Wade Directing. [The Southern Democrat, December 14, 1933]
