MUNCIE- Betty Lou Adams, 87, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital following a battle with cancer.

She was born April 1, 1928 in Muncie, the daughter of Carlton and Grace (Sanders) Wilson. Betty graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1946.

Betty was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting. She was a member of Red Bird Quilting Guild, Industry United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Lightbearer’s Sunday School Class, and Happy Rambler’s Traveling Group.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her son, Homer Adams, Jr., Muncie, her daughter, Brenda Cribbs (husband, William), Muncie; one grandson, Billy Cribbs, Muncie; her brother, Jerry Wilson, Galveston; and her sister, Patty Collins, Jasper.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Adams, Sr., and a son, Larry Adams.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 26, 2015 at 11:00 am at Industry United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Graves officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Friends may call at Industry United Methodist Church on Saturday, December 26, 2015, from 10:00 am until service time at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, Betty requested that memorial contributions be made to Industry United Methodist Church, 1912 Mock Ave., Muncie, IN 47302.
