In loving Memory of Frances McLeroy Dykes, to whom was called Home to her Lord and Savior on January 14, 2013 at the age of 80 years and 51 days. She was born November 24, 1932 in Crockett, Texas to James and Katie Kennedy.
She has reunited in Heaven with her parents, James Kennedy and Katie Hughes; her 1st husband, O.D. McLeroy, Jr., whom she was married to on April 23, 1955 until his death on April 21, 1980. She is also preceded in death by her 2nd husband, Thomas E, Dykes, whom she was married to on January 31, 1987 until his death on September 16, 2011.
Frances is survived by her loving children, Leann Windmiller and husband, Tim; Marsha Martin and husband, Tommy, Ron McLeroy and Rodney Myers; her very special granddaughter, Torri Martin, who was Granny's Sugar Lump!; brother, James "Tootie" Kennedy; Step children, Joe Hammons and wife Gloria, Andy Hammons, Danny Dykes and wife Debbie, Phyllis Moran and Wesley Dykes and wife Candi; Numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as, a host of other extended relatives and friends. Her special sister-in-law, Reba "Bebo" Fulton and special friends, Johnny and Jessie and Sondra Hart also survive.
