Connie L. Schlafman, 56, Wilton, ND died December 20, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday December 26, 2015 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Pettibone, ND. Officiating will be Pastor Paul Schauer. Interment will be in the Petersville Cemetery, rural Pettibone. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at Goetz Funeral Home, Washburn, ND. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.

Connie was born February 10, 1959 in Jamestown, ND the daughter of Rudolph and Freida (Schmidt) Guthmiller. She was raised on a farm north of Pettibone. Connie attended school in Pettibone and graduated from the Pettibone High School in 1977. She married Kenny Wolf and to this union brought two sons, Ryan and Derrick Wolf. She was a stay at home mom and raised her two sons. Connie later married Todd Schlafman on May 4, 1991 in Robinson, ND. Together they had two children, Tanner and Megan. They lived in Robinson, Bismarck, Rugby, and Mandan before settling in Wilton. Connie worked as a home health care provider for McLean county social services.

She enjoyed reading, watching movies, going on drives in the country and most of all her “special days” with her daughter, Megan and spending time with her grandchildren.

Grateful to have shared in Connie’s life are her husband, Todd Schlafman of Wilton; sons, Derrick Wolf (Kinda Hornbacher) of Wishek, ND, Tanner Schlafman of Wilton; a daughter, Megan Schlafman of Wilton; three grandchildren, Gavin, Gatlyn, Graysen Wolf; a brother, Eugene (Charlene) Guthmiller of Pettibone; a sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Marlin Harr of Pettibone, Lisa and Jamie Hoynes of Bismarck; her mother-in-law, Sue Schlafman of Bismarck; many nieces, nephews, cousins and her two dogs, Schotzy and Rudy .

Connie was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ryan Wolf; a sister, Marlys Harr and two brothers, Earl and Raymond.
