Little John A. Nunn, 8-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. A.N. Nunn, who lives six miles in the country, shot and instantly killed his sister, Pearl, a 15-year-old girl, Monday while playing with a new shotgun his father had bought Saturday. The gun was thought to be unloaded when placed in the rack on the wall, but when the child pulled it down from the rack the gun discharged. The load killed the girl instantly and the kick from the gun cut the boys lip so badly it was necessary to rush the child to Swainsboro for medical treatment.
