Willie Melvin Nunn, 46, a native of Emanuel County and lifelong resident of Swainsboro died at his residence here after a brief illness.

Survivors include his wife, the former Susie Daniels of Swainsboro; two daughters Mrs. Rufus Hannah and Miss Dorothy Nell Nunn both of Swainsboro; two sons, Willie Melvin, Jr., and Rudolph Nunn both of Swainsboro; his mother, Mrs. Eva J. Nunn, Swainsboro; three sisters, Mrs. Madie Fennell, Mrs. Johnnie Curl, Swainsboro and Mrs. William A. Vogel, Atlanta; one brother, John A. Nunn, Swainsboro.

He was a member of First Baptist Mission of Swainsboro where funeral services were held Tuesday, June 22, at 4:30 P.M., conducted by Rev. Kenneth Youmans, pastor. Burial was in the Hall Cemetery near Swainsboro. Pallbearers were Bill Bishop, Ernest Snellgrove, Jr., Gordon Wammock, Raymond Jones, T.J. Hall, and Billie Hall. Honorary pallbearers were the Deacons and men of First Baptist Mission.

T.C. Hunnicutt and Son of Swainsboro Mortuary were in charge of the arrangements.
