Gainesville, Texas resident, Dolores Lee Brock, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at University Medical Center in Lubbock at the age of seventy-four. She was born in San Francisco, California January 8, 1941. Dolores married Robert Lee Brock December 17, 1980 in Gainesville. She loved karaoke and sang classic country. Dolores was also a very avid shopper who never tired of shopping.
Survivors of Dolores Brock include her husband, Robert Lee Brock of Gainesville; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Rhonda Broyles of Whitesboro, Jerry and Lydia Broyles of Oakridge, Mike and Sandy Broyles of Padre Island, John and Donna Broyles of Flemming Island, Florida and Ricky and Cynthia Broyles of Pilot Point; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Gregg Sims of Whitesboro; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Joyce Cortez of Coarsegold, California; brother, Gerry Cortez of San Antonio; sisters, Gladys Simpson of Hobbs, New Mexico, Anita Resendes of Modesto, California and Sheila Cortez of Joplin, Missouri; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Bradley Broyles and sister, Patricia Sumners.
Funeral Services ~ Saturday, December 26th at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville with Bro. Mark King officiating. Interment followed at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro.
