Jerene was preceded in death by her husband Elmer in 1974, a great grandson Isaac John Hoeksema in 2000 and her brother Arlyn De Kock.
She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church of Zeeland. Jerene and her husband owned John Hoeksema Inc. for many years until her sons took over the business.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State, funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 24, 2015 at First Christian Reformed Church, 15 South Church Street, Zeeland. Interment will be in Zeeland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland.
