In 1947 she married the late Newell Adams of Oakfield, Maine and together they settled in Houlton raising four sons: Paul Adams and his companion Susan Golding of Houlton, Maine; George Adams and his wife Dawn of Arundal Maine; Dana Adams and his wife Debra of Sanford, FL and Steve Adams and his companion Athena Spyrats of Orlando, FL. She is survived by her four sons and their families, one brother Fred Pond of Patten and many very loved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a special niece Marcia (Pond) Anderson.
She was predeceased by her husband and three brothers Albert "Pondie" Pond, James Pond and John Pond.
A spring committal will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Houlton.
