JONESBORO - Sarah Frances (Gilman) Lenfestey, 75, born July 5, 1940 to Marcia (Beal) and Guy Plaisted Gilman went to be with her Savior the Lord Jesus Christ at 10:05 pm on Dec. 17, 2015 at a Machias hospital.

She was educated in the Jonesboro and Jonesport school systems graduating from Jonesport High School.

She was employed by H. Blair Davis Lumber Co. in Machias as a bookkeeper. She later worked as a teller at Merrill Trust Bank in Jonesport, Gay Brothers Fruit and Produce of Jonesboro, Machias Savings Bank as a teller, and her last paid employment was for two years as a stern person aboard her husband's lobster boat the "Sarah G."

She was predeceased by her mother Marcia, her father Guy, and a brother Lewis.

She is survived by her husband of 55+ years Myron C. "Mike" Lenfestey Sr.; four daughters - Lori Anne Pritchard, Lorena Faye Beal and husband Wyatt, Michele Sue Johnson and husband Kenneth, Melissa Lee Veith and friend Lewis Bishop, and a son Myron C. Lenfestey Jr and wife Rebecca. Twelve grandchildren - David A. Pritchard, Christopher A. Pritchard, Mariner M. Beal, Audrey Lynne Beal, Michael J. Lenfestey, Frederick T. MacLean, Kenneth M. Johnson, Laura G. Johnson, Emily M. Veith, Myron C. Lenfestey III, Bradley R. Lenfestey, and Seth M. Lenfestey; three great grandchildren - Weston M. Beal, Brayden J. Pritchard, and Addilynn E. Lenfestey; and a very special furry friend, Jake; an Aunt Lois Thistlewood, and several cousins.

Graveside services will be held 1pm Wed. Dec. 30, 2015 at the Rose Hill Cemetery, Jonesboro with Pastor Charles Lakeman officiating. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Jonesboro Elementary School Activity Fund.
