Sharon Lomax Hansen, 73, passed away December 11, 2015, in Provo, Utah, with her daughters by her side. She was born August 23, 1942, to Elmo William and DeOn Bills Lomax in Ogden, Utah.
She graduated from Davis High School in 1960, and then graduated from cosmetology school in 1963. Sharon worked for many years as a cosmetologist. She also worked as a lunch lady for Nebo School District for 13 years before retiring.
An active and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Sharon served a full-time mission in the Pacific Northwest Mission in 1969. Her interests included sewing, crocheting, and traveling. Sharon married Richard Taylor Hansen on February 1, 1974, in the Salt Lake Temple. They were blessed with two daughters.
She is survived by her daughters, Shauna Hansen, of Spanish Fork; and Kathy (Eric) Warner of Spanish Fork; three grandchildren: Jaxson, Addison, and Camden. She is also survived by three brothers: David (Sharleen) Lomax, Kenneth (Laile) Lomax, Larry (Pam) Lomax; and one sister, Kaylynn Hover. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents, and her brother, Howard Lomax.
