Roger Moore was born February 3, 1952 in Jackson County and departed this life Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at the St. Joseph Hospital in Berea, being 60 years of age. He was the son of the late Ernest & Goldie (Isaacs) Moore.

Roger is survived by three children, Josh Moore & his wife Amanda of McKee; Julia Welch & her husband James of McKee and Shannon Allen & her fiancé Norman Cunagin of Annville and by a step daughter, Jessica Caudill of McKee. He is also survived by four siblings, Donald “Duck” Moore & his wife Emma of Tyner, Ralph Moore & his wife Annette of Berea, Kaye Harris & her husband Raymond of Berea and Jacqueline Moore of McKee. Roger was blessed with three grandchildren, Tyler Allen, Kaylee Allen & Ethan Caudill.

In addition to his parents, Roger was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronald “Cotton” Moore.

Funeral service was held 2:00 PM Sunday, May 6, 2012 at the Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. J.C. Dunsil officiating. Burial followed in the New Zion Cemetery. Lakes Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
