Last rites were held at 2:30 p.m Tuesday at the Calvary Baptist church for William R. Johnson, 58, owner and operator of the People's Supply Co., 813 E. Florence Blvd. Mr. Johnson died Sunday at Hoemako Hospital.
He was born on Sept. 24, 1895 in Biett, Arkansas and had been a resident of Casa Grande for the past seven years.
The Rev. Keith Hart of the Calvary Baptist Church officiated at the Tuesday service in the church. Mrs. Janie Ethington played the organ and Mrs Bennie Clements was the soloist.
Interment was in the Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Stella, a daughter, Mrs Marjorie May and a son, Jack Johnson, all of Casa Grande. Four grandchildren also survive.
