Zion Parsons, 74 dies at Benham
Zion Parsons, 74, of Partridge, died May 19 at the Valley View Community Hospital, Benham, after a long illness.
He was survived by his widow, Mrs. Nora Parsons, Partridge, and three children - Otto Parsons, Honolulu; Elmo Parsons, Las Cruces, New Mexico, and Leo Parsons, Miamisburg, Ohio.
He was also survived by a brother, Emil Parsons, Cumberland, and a sister, Mrs. Jane Blair, of Kingsport.
Funeral services were held at the Blair Chapel on Sunday, May 21, and were conducted by the Rev. Elbert Morgan. Burial was in the Raleigh Cemetery at Oven Fork.
