Thelma Pfeifer was born November 28, 1926 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to William and Antoinette (Champagne) Vanscheik. She grew up in Canada and was united in marriage to Bernard Pfeifer on January 22, 1945. Thelma lived in Newman Grove and Spalding where they farmed. In 1970, they moved to Columbus where she worked as a nurse at the hospital. In recent years, Thelma has been a resident of Morys Haven. Thelma loved to sew, quilt, crochet, and most importantly she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of St. Bonaventure Church.
