Rita A. Sanders (nee Schumacher), age 92, a resident of Aurora, IL, formerly of Downers Grove, IL, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at her home. She was born March 4, 1923 in Downers Grove. Beloved wife of the late William A. Sanders, loving mother of Gerald Sanders, Carolyn Sanders, Patrick (Connie Jo) Sanders, Steven (Deana) Sanders, Marilyn Slusarczyk and Loraine (Terry) Kregel, adored grandmother of ten, cherished great-grandmother of seven, devoted daughter of the late Hubert and Mary Schumacher, dear friend of many.
Visitation Thursday, December 17, 4:00-8:00 PM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill Street, Naperville. Services will begin Friday, December 18, 8:30 AM from the funeral home and will proceed to a 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 701 S. Eola Rd., Aurora. Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Naperville, IL.
