She was born June 24, 1933, in Meadville, the daughter of the late Carl Harmon and Helen Wood Harmon. Shirley retired after 29 years of service from the Pennsylvania Department of Health where she had been employed as a secretary.
Shirley loved dining out with her friends and in earlier years she enjoyed traveling.
Shirley is survived by many nieces and nephews, Diane, Carl, David, Susan, Jim, Tom, Roger and Rick.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by two sisters, Pauline McClain and Eleanor Kiser and by two brothers, Jack Harmon and Clair Harmon.
