Agnes was one of five children born to Victor and Ida. Ida died of Typhoid in 1899 and Victor was left to raise the five children. Eventually Agnes and her siblings would emigrate to the United States where her Aunt Matilda lived. Her oldest brothers were the first to emigrate at their father’s discretion and were sent to live with their Aunt Matilda in Philadelphia, PA. While in Sweden, Agnes was an actress traveling across the country with a group. She never married but had one daughter, Margot Andersson. She and her sister Anna Helena and her brother Folke were devoted to their father. Agnes made several trips back and forth across the ocean but it wasn’t until her father’s death that she, her daughter and her brother Folke would finally emigrate to the United States and settle in Pennsylvania.
