Betty Jo Barton 81, of Abilene, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2006. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Paige Baize officiating, under the direction of North's Funeral Home, 242 Orange St.
Ms. Barton was born October 3, 1924 to Jesse and Vernice Lewis in Shelbyville, Tennessee. She married William C. "Bill" Barton, June 6, 1948. She and Bill owned, Bill Barton Saddle Shop from 1966 - 1999.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her special friends and caregivers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hendrick's Hospice.
