She was born Oct. 17, 1925, in Wooster to Harry W. Sr. and Plessie G. Shoup McAnaney, and on Aug. 22, 1951, married Ward Shultz. He preceded her in death May 1, 1990.
Virginia was a member for over 50 years of Shreve Christian Church, and was a real estate agent and auctioneer for over 50 years. She was a member of Eastern Star and is in the Wayne County Realtor Hall of Fame. She was the first woman president of the Wayne County Board of Realtors.
She had a zest for life with her family being everything to her.
Surviving are children, Leta Wisner of Wooster and Doug (Becky) Shultz of Millersburg; grandchildren, Casie (Dustin) Kessinger and Jason (Pam) Shultz; and great-grandchildren, Zander, Zaylie, Zara Shultz and Bo Kessinger.
In addition to her husband, Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Elaine Stoddard, Elizabeth Brinkerhoff and Lillian Raylan; and a brother, Harry W. McAnaney Jr.
