DeLaney - In Porterville, August 12, 1960. Mrs. Minnie DeLaney, 65, native of Texas and resident of Terra Bella 30 years; wife of Edwin DeLaney, mother of Frank Montgomery, Mrs. Gladys Crew, Mrs. Alvina Walton and Mrs. Mildred Tucker; step-mother of Rev. Theodore Edwin Delaney Jr., and Mrs. Veda Ward; sister of Monroe, Herman, John and Walter Schmidt, Mrs. Edda Schaeffer and Thekla Zeller; grandmother of 15 and great-grandmother of seven. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Terra Bella. Interment will be in the Zion Lutheran cemetery. Myers Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
