She was born on April 13, 1914, in Albia, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Inez (Patton) McNeal.
Jessie married Harry Kahler on December 19, 1931. He died on November 23, 2014.
Jessie took care of their children on the family farm. She enjoyed antiques and polka music.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, LaVern; a grandson, Chuck; and a great granddaughter, Maggie Kesl.
There will not be a visitation and a private family burial will take place at Buckingham Cemetery in rural Traer.
