Mrs. Estella (Stella) Samples, 55, of 340 Arago Street, died suddenly Wednesday while attending the funeral of a sister-in-law, Mrs. Dora Ford, at the Frank Endsley Funeral Home.
Mrs. Samples was born June 6, 1893, at Marshall, Mo., a daughter of James T. and Sallie Urp (Earp) Ford. She married Emery Samples in Peoria and he died here March 2, 1933.
Surviving are her father of Carrollton, Mo., four brothers, one sister, four stepsisters and four half-brothers.
