She was born to Alvin and Leoma George McEldowney. On Nov. 24, 1956, she married Paul D. Knick, who survives.
Also surviving are six sons, George W. (Renee), Gordon R. (Laura), Glenn P (Jill), all of Greenville, Gregory L. (Mary J.) and Garth A. (Angie), Ansonia, and Gary A. (Jamie), Bradford; a brother, Charles (Betty) McEldowney, Versailles; a sister-in-law, Becky, New Weston; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Deceased is a brother, Curtis McEldowney.
A homemaker, she helped her husband with the farm as well as working as a clerk at Birt's Store, New Weston. She served as secretary of Ansonia Athletic Boosters, was a den mother for Boy Scout Troop 114 for 14 years and helped with migrant ministry.
Service was at Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, Greenville, the Rev. Terry Haworth officiating.
