Our hero in every way Virgil Nolan Young. A very special person to all of us. On September 6, 2015 God gained an angel and we lost Virgil to natural causes.

Virgil was born in Payson, Utah on Jan. 21, 1919, he was 96 years old. Virgil spent his childhood years in Salt Lake City. Virgil enjoyed being outdoors and loved nature one of his favorite hobbies was gardening.

There were many different skills Virgil had, he was always Mr. fix it and there wasn't anything he couldn't fix. Virgil enjoyed helping people in any way he could possibly help. Virgil was Mr. Sunshine he always saw the bright side of everyone and everything.

Virgil went into the Army and fought in World War II, he achieved six Bronze Stars, and he fought for our freedom and in six major battles. He was a Field Artillery Officer; he was in the military from 1942 to 1945.

After the military Virgil went into sales for plumbing and heating, he retired three times by the age of 70. Virgil was an amazing person, he truly was the most humblest and the nicest person anyone can meet.

Virgil will be missed everyday for his wonderful and humorous personality; heaven will be a better place for him being there. Virgil has touched the hearts of many lives and he has done a lot for his family and friends.

Virgil has left behind family, wife Mary Young, daughter Joyce Koehn and son-in-law Chuck Koehn, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He also left behind two other children daughter Paula Culbertson, son Michael Culbertson and wife Lindi Culbertson, also leaving behind grandson Christopher Culbertson and wife Sheryl Culbertson and three great granddaughters Shaila, Victoria and Shayn Culbertson.

There will never be a day he will not be thought of he will always be with us.

By request there will be no service.
