Myrtle Griffin Moss,87,of Ellisville,died Friday,Jan.6,2006,at Destin Health Care in Destin,Fla.Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m.Monday,at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro,with burial in Salem Cemetery.The Rev.Greg Matthews will officiate.She was a homemaker.She was preceded in death by her husbands,Alfred Griffin and Odis Moss;parents,Corine and Steve Strickland;and two sisters,Mildred Shows and Ann Ainsworth.She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law,Gerald and Linda Griffin of Ellisville;a daughter and son-in-law, Regina and Larry Osteen of Niceville,Fla.;a brother,C.L.Strickland of Laurel;three grandchildren,Paul Knight of Pensacola,Fla. and Tara Pitts and James Griffin,both of Ellisville;and several nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. today,at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro,which is in charge of arrangements.
