Birth date is her baptism register at Edgmond, date of death is burial record at Fenny Compton: "Bridget, wife of George Willys, Gent. buried at Fenny Compton 11 March 1629."

Only daughter of William Yonge of Caynton, Edgmond, Sheriff of Shropshire, and (2) Mary Bonner. Bridget was also the step-daughter of Thomas Combe, SR of Stratford on Avon, half-sister of William Combe, Thomas Combe, Jr. (who received William Shakespeare's sword), Mary Combe and Joyce Combe.

Bridget Yonge was the first wife of George Wyllys (Willis) of Fenny Compton, Warwickshire.

"Brigett Yong" and George "Willis" were married at Stratford's Holy Trinity Church on 2 November 1609, next to the College House residence of her widowed mother. They then lived at Fenny Compton for the next 20 years and were parents of George Jr., Mary, Hester and Amy. After Bridget's death, George Wyllys emigrated and became Governor of the Connecticut Colony in 1642.
