Kenneth J. Krumdick, age 78, of Sonoma, Calif., entered eternal rest on May 19, 2004 at his residence.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2004 at 10 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Francis Creek. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Paider. Burial of the cremains will follow at St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery.

Kenneth was born March 5, 1926, in Manitowoc. He was the son of the late Henry and Frances Kolicek Krumdick. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1945. He then continued his education at the Loyola University of Chicago. Kenneth was employed as a counselor at the Hanna Boys Center in Sonoma, Calif., for 48 years. In an article in Hanna's 50th anniversary publication, "Haven is hope," it said, "Possessing a good sense of humor and quick to laugh, Ken infused a positive attitude into the atmosphere of the cottage."

He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law: James J. and Jane Krumdick, Shorewood, Ill.; three sisters and one brother-in-law: Virginia M. Scheving, Brookfield; Carol M. Wieseler, Milwaukee; and Mary Anne and Joseph Lemens, Green Bay; 16 nieces and nephews; 24 great-nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and many friends surviving.

Friends may call at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Francis Creek on Saturday, June 12, 2004 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 10 a.m.

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 628 N. Water St., Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
