F. & A.M. since 1967; was a member of Scottish Rite San Antonio Consistory since 1969; Alzafar Shrine Temple since 1969; director Staff Unit of Alzafar. He was employed by the San Antonio City Public Service Board since 1950; was past President of North Side Public Service Club, and a member of the Kilowatt Club. Survivors, Wife, Mrs. Geraldine Estelle Boatright; mother, Mrs. Bertie Lee Boatright, Austin; son, Mr. Jody Albert Boatright; daughters, Mrs. Peggy Ann Tucker, both of San Antonio, Mrs. Karen Sue McBee, Mrs. Stephanie Jo Mills, both of Austin; grandchildren, Jackie Jalene Tucker, James Allen Boatright; sister, Mrs. Louise Brotherman; brother, John Leslie Boatright; stepbrother, Jack Warren Mitten, all of San Antonio. The victim, Jesse A. Boatwright[sic] Jr., of 7632 Triple Oak Trail, died Saturday morning after being shot in the neck while sitting in a car parked at a lounge in the 6900 block of St. Hedwig Road new Martinez, Bexar County Sheriff’s deputies said.
