Sgt. Moises Jazmin of Providence, Rhode Island was a son of Leon and Rosa Jazmin and had lived in Providence for 23 years where he attended Central High School. He joined the Army in 1999. Moises was the youngest son in a close-knit family of eight brothers and sisters who was a doting uncle to his nieces. The last time he was back from duty in August, the first thing he did was visit family and take his two nieces, ages 11 and 12, out bowling. He also showered them with personalized gifts, such as army hats that had their names on them. Besides his parents, he is survived by three brothers, Basilio Eusebio, Ramon Eusebio, and Julian Jazmin, four sisters; Esther, Joanna, Ruth and Bertha Jazmin. He was 25.
