Albert McGuire, Justice Of Peace, Succumbs at 79
Albert J. McGuire, 79, justice of the peace of White River township, passed away at 7 o'clock Wednesday night at the Randolph County hospital.
A lifelong resident of Randolph county, Mr. McGuire was a former school teacher and farmer and had served as trustee of White River township from 1927 to 1939. He also was engaged in the real estate business in Winchester with offices in the Ward Agency.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Maynard and Walker funeral home in Winchester at 1:30 p. m. Friday with Rev. G. M. Payne in charge. Burial will be in Maxville cemetery.
Survivors are the widow, Minnie; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Botkin of near Parker and Mrs. Opal Hammers of Muncie; three sons, Neal and Thomas, both of Winchester, and Roger of Union City; three sisters, Mrs. Lou Pope of Eugene, Ore., Mrs. May Williams of Palo Alto, Cal., and Mrs. Gussie Coleman of Kalamazoo, Mich., and one brother, Blaine of Farmland.
Friends may call at the mortuary after 7 p. m. Thursday.
