He was born June 24,1906, near Farmland, son of the late Albert and Minnie (Addington) McGuire. He retired from Union City Mold in 1971 after about 20 years of service. A WW II veteran, he served with the US Navy and was a member of the Union City American Legion Post.
Surviving are the widow, Esther Riegle McGuire; two sons, Byron W. McGuire of Union City and Albert Keith McGuire at home; one grandson and two step-granddaughters; one sister, Mrs. Helen Botkin of Parker City; two nephews. He was preceded by two sisters, two brothers, one niece and one nephew.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. (Slow time) Sat., at the Fraze-Brooks & Davis Funeral Home in Union City. Burial in Union City Cemetery where military graveside services will be held.
