Funeral services were held for William Henry Ansley, 89, Tuesday, September 5, at 2:30 from the Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Smith Sanders officiating, assisted by . Rev. Marvin Crimm. Integment (sic Interment) in the Hillsboro cemetery with Ott & Lee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Ansley passed away in the Kemper County Hospital on Sunday night after an extended illness. He was a member of the Lillian Baptist Church.
He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Maggie Cobb, and Mrs. Faye Frost both of DeKalb, Mrs. Pearl Vineyard of Meridian, Mrs. Evan Underwood, Sebastopol, Mrs. Bessie Ponder, Mendenhall, two sons, Otho Ansley, Harperville, Dewey Ansley of Mt. Vernon, Mo., one sister, and two brothers, all from Fort Worth, Texas, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren.
Pallbearers: Lamar Gatewood, Loyd Worrell, Verner L. Gatewood, Lewis Chambers, John D. Gatewood, Willie Chambers.
