Orin Monroe, 84, formerly of Fairfield died August 29, 2003, in Florida.
Mr. Monroe was born October 1, 1918 in Jasper Township, Wayne County, to Richard "Dick" and Bessie Brown Monroe.
He and his wife Marie, lived many years in Florida. After her death in January, 2001, he returned to Fairfield and lived at Brookstone until July of this year, when he returned to Florida.
Memorial services were held for Orin and Marie October 17, 2003 in Brazil, IN.
Survivors include a brother, Eldon Monroe and a sister, Mildred Toombs, both of Fairfield.
Preceding him in death were his parents, wife, and four brothers.
