Mrs Julia Grimes McDermott wife of John A McDermott of Green Street died Monday afternoon at ?? o'clock following a week's ill of pneumonia She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Martin Grimes and was born at Bloomington, Md on March 14, 1864. Had she lived until March she would have been 61 years of age. Mrs McDermott came to Connellsville in 1890 to make her home. She was married in 1903 in the Immaculate Conception by the Rev John T Burns. A son Joseph was born to the union. Besides her husband and son, two sisters, Sister M Victoria of the Sisters of Charity Convent, Evansville, Ind and Miss Nellie Grimes and a brother, Patrick Grimes, South Connellsville. (the next two lines are unreadable) Mrs Freeman Stillwagon of Connellsville, John McDermott of Seattle, Washington and James McDermott of Havre, Montana. Mrs McDermott was a member ?? The funeral service for Mrs. Julia G. McDermott, wife of John McDermott of Green Street, will be held on Friday instead of Tuesday as previously announced, owing to the late arrival of relatives from a Western state. The time is 9 o'clock at Immaculate Conception Church with burial in St Joseph's cemetery.
