On October 5, 1858 he married Ellen Gower in Tring and later immigrated to the US, settling in Ellsworth, Kansas. Two of his brother's also immigrated to the USA. William jr, (Mem. #6233184), settled in Arkansas and Arthur (Mem. #28201796), who settled in Kansas. George Harry Allen died on March 4, 1911 in Ellsworth, Kansas. His Burial was in Ellsworth Cemetery.
